Blackburn Bird Club's Recording area covers all the area within the solid black line on the map opposite. The area covers Blackburn, Darwen, Oswaldtwistle, Whalley, Longridge and Samlesbury, as well as local reservoirs such as Dean Clough and Fishmoor and nature reserves such as Brockholes Nature Reserve. The Club accepts sightings from anywhere in the Recording area and we welcome new contributors. To submit your bird sightings from the area you can do one of the following -
